Kumbhalgarh is a historic town in the Rajsamand district of Rajasthan, renowned for its magnificent fort and scenic surroundings in the Aravalli hills. The town is most famous for the Kumbhalgarh Fort, built in the 15th century by Rana Kumbha, which is a UNESCO World Heritage Site and one of the largest forts in India.
